I am grateful for adventure
Adventure can not exist without some form of risk.
To be spontaneous is a risky thing indeed. However, the reward of a life lived in the moment far surpasses the weight of potential chaos. This week, I took a risk and decided to trek half way across the country with minimal planning and a lot of hope.
At the beginning of the new year, I wrote down things I wanted to manifest in 2018. One of the words I wrote down was "adventure". I am so grateful to the Universe for providing me with the opportunity for adventure. This week, I am in beautiful California on the adventure of a lifetime! Two days spent in the car with friends making our way through deserts, mountains and cities lead me somewhere I've never been.
My schedule is all over the place so planning trips can be tricky. I had to hop on the opportunity to escape the every day and make my way across the country. I like to think of myself as a semi seasoned adventurer so quickly planning a trip seemed like a fun challenge. Even though there were some bumps along the way getting to San Francisco, I loved every single second of the journey!
When I look back on my life, I want to see all the amazing adventures I went on, the beautiful lessons they taught me and the people I love who traveled with me. I am so grateful for all the aspects of the journey!
