If you have been following me on Instagram you know that I am ALL ABOUT GRATITUDE! I truly believe that gratitude for what we have is the key to happiness. Practicing gratitude and expressing it is one of the best things you can do for your mental health. As many of you know, I am a part of the Blue Ridge Nation- a network of people coming together to heal ourselves and each other with CBD and unconditional support of one another. Blue Ridge Hemp Company has been so incredibly inspirational to me on Instagram with #SelfCareSunday and #GratitudeFriday...I even started to dedicate my Wednesdays to my mental, physical, and spiritual well being! (Get ready for #WellnessWednesdays you guys!!!)
In association with BRH....I want to start a weekly #GratitudeFriday blog post to highlight that which I'm grateful for this week! If any of you are also bloggers or writers, I would highly suggest writing your own Gratitude Friday post and reflect on all of the blessings in your life this week! Also- feel free to follow @blueridgehemp and @theyogihart on Instagram for daily inspiration!
I am grateful for the Blue Ridge Nation
From the amazing accounts I have discovered on Instagram to the friendships I have made- Blue Ridge Hemp has created a community of inclusive individuals coming together in the name of acceptance, healing and achieving our goals through positive action! I was so lucky to receive a hand-written poem and ethereal photograph this week from my North Carolina friend, Paige Coon. She's an incredibly talented photographer and yogi who spreads nothing but love in her journey. You can find Paige and follow along with her letters and adventures on Instagram as @daydreamadventures! There is nothing I love more than being able to connect with and mutually inspire people all over the country. To all my Blue Ridge homies- keep doing what you're doing...I'm so grateful for you! && if you're not a part of the nation yet....join! Follow @blueridgehemp and learn about all the magic of CBD!
I am grateful for the Denver House of Healing
I have surrounded myself with healers, artists and philosophers this year that have had one goal in mind-- raise the vibration of the collective through authentic acts of kindness and love. We have dubbed our home "The House of Healing" due to the undeniable progress that people make when stepping through the front door. Whether you come for yoga and meditation, one of our dinner parties, or just to visit the house and spend time with us....everyone has a breakthrough in their journey. I am so grateful that I never gave up on my dream to be surrounded by a family of healers and artists. As much as we strive to help others- we are growing and ultimately healing ourselves. I have found my family and my home...for this I am eternally grateful!
I am grateful for new friendships
This past week I had the honor of meeting, photographing, and spending time with Brandon Eden. Brandon is one of the most talented yogis and tattoo artists I have ever met! There is something so powerful about the cosmic connections we make with people that seem to be completely in tune with our life path! I am so grateful for everyday that brings me new people and an expanded horizon! You can check out his amazing work on Instagram as @yogi_gudakesha_tattoo. I'm already super excited to design body art and further my yogic practice with Gudakesha and other amazing individuals I have had the pleasure of practicing with this year!
I am grateful for Live Yoga
Almost every day this week, I have been able to invite all of my insta-yogi family into my sacred space via yoga on Instagram Live. Not only am I grateful that I have a schedule that allows for hours of yoga and meditation to be a part of every single day, but I am so grateful for every single person who has joined me in my practice. Whether you join in, listen to the music, or just watch for inspiration....I am so so grateful for you! Sharing my true authentic practice has been so therapeutic for me. In the world of yoga photography, it's easy to imagine that yogis like me can just jump into the perfect handstand or put our feet on our heads without a second thought....most of my practice is yin-style stretching that is accessible to all skill levels and body types! If you haven't tuned in to my live practice yet....Follow me on Instagram for regular sessions and inspiration!
I am grateful for healthy food.
This week I am feeling especially grateful for my access to healthy, organic, vegan options that allow me to thrive as a healthy, nourished human being. I am grateful for my knowledge of nutrition and the ability to eat whole foods as oppose to cheaper, less healthy options. One of my goals in life is to increase access to healthy food all across our country...in schools, in groceries and in small towns. The first step is awareness. I am so grateful to be in a position where I can share my love of health with others!
& of course, I am so grateful to you for checking out this blog post! Thank you so much my cosmic tribe! Until next time...
