Fall time is my absolute favorite time of year to be at home in my city of birth- Denver, Colorado. The weather becomes chilly, the horefrost makes everything shine and sparkle, the fashions are amazing and best of all....it's coffee season. This autumn, my group of artists and I have been exploring the city and creating photography, poetry, and anything else to express our gratitude for our home. Here's a little look book of how beautiful life has been recently;
Divinity embraces me like the warmth has embraced our early autumn. Monarchs tell me to create art- to fly freely. At golden hour the sun reflects my soul, the sky mimics the color of my iris. Within each beat I can feel him-Dionysus. Step one, step two... take it to a half beat...and slow down. Look around at all this art and realize it's been sheer poetry from the start but it wasn't until recently we learned to translate it audibly, visually, spiritually...who will you be when the book is written on the great tale of this earth and the many great planets and cosmos beyond it? How does your sonnet read to a reality in dire need of self awareness ( choose love-- now and always ) . .
Luke Hathaway Clark is a great friend that I've known for years and one of the best photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We spent a Saturday on South Broadway and made our way downtown living as tourists in our own city. We took cabs everywhere, went into every shop, took photos of everything and enjoyed every moment. Never forget to look at your life as one big adventure.
We had so much fun documenting our city...and each other. Luke got some really creative shots of me.
Intensity-I see you, I embrace you. Feeling in tune with the planets and riding with fire, desire and the pure intention not of ego but of the collective unconscious.
Tarot readings that send chills up and down the spine, books opening to pages like magic and synchronicity becoming the theme of every day. We are in tune with something grand here-this great mystery is so much more than simple rituals...it is the epic cosmic energy that makes even Mother Earth look microscopic in the scheme of things (is she not?) The time is NOW.
Do you feel it?
Latety, every day has been a beautiful adventure and a work of art. I am so grateful for my tribe.
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out these photos and this post!
