I'm grateful for my home and my roomie.
There is so much new happening lately.....new year, new job opportunities, new friends and new situations I didn't expect to see. I've learned to ride the waves of change with total ease, swing dancing with the times and finding myself in perfect rhythm. And amidst all this movement and change, stillness comes to mind. I am reminded of that which has remained more or less constant in my life and I find myself filled with so much gratitude. Coming home lately has been such a comfort for me because I know what to expect.
My roomie Eliza and I have created a zen space of art, healing and learning in our house and really made it into a home. Last night we reflected on our time living together and how much we have been through together so far. We have seen just about every side of each other and it's just made us incredibly close.
When Eliza first moved in, I left town the next day for a week and when I returned, the house smelled of sage and candles, music was playing and Iza was out on the back porch, soaking up the sun and reading one of her many psychology books. I knew then that the magic in my life was about to multiply but I had no idea by how much.
Being able to share space with a beautiful, intellectual, spiritual and artistic woman has inspired me so much in honestly every endeavor. True friendships are hard to come by- be oh so thankful for those who stand by you!
Thanks so much for checking out this week's Gratitude Friday!
