I was recently able to escape the city for the weekend and make my way up to Carbonedale and Glenwood Springs to soak up the valley vibes and take part in Mountain Fair!
I went with the intention to set up a couple of photo shoots and create some content while in such a beautiful area. I ended up staying present and staying in the moment without documenting too much of the trip. All the same- I had some help shooting this weekend so the photos I was able to capture are pretty amazing. Although I might just be bias due to the happy vibes I associate with this photo series.
We arrived just in time for golden hour and made our way to this lovely little lake- right across from my old house!
Every time I'm in the valley- a million happy memories flood back to me. This place included.
After a solid night of car camping, we made our way to Carbondale for Mountain Fair. We took a break at the
True Nature Healing Arts Center to walk on the reflexology path, enjoy a moving meditation in the labyrinth and seek cover from the rain...all while in the most relaxing setting. We stayed half the afternoon.
I lived in the valley for about 4 years and even though I absolutely love Denver and the hustle and bustle of that 5280 life...I often miss my time in the valley. I daydream about moving back. All will happen in perfect timing. Until then, I will enjoy every adventure and honor each step!
I'm already looking forward to my next time up in Carbondale...
this mountain town will always have a piece of my heart.
In a similar fashion to oh so many of my mountain trips- I decided to stop in Breckenridge on the way back to enjoy coffee, brunch and the good energy of the Breck locals before heading back to Denver. Turns out my Free People romper and my hair/eyes matched these flowers perfectly so of course I had to pose for picture or 2.
As always, thanks so much for taking the time to check out my blog.
